Humanity First was founded in 1994 in the UK; It has been supporting in natural disasters, benefiting hundreds of millions of people in many communities. Shortly after its creation, the scope of the organization’s operations expanded beyond relief in natural disasters to various sustainable human development projects and initiatives around the world. Around the year 2000, Humanity First began to focus on long-term projects dedicated to the care of the health, the education, water, vocational training and care for orphans.
Today, Humanity First it is registered in 53 countries, on six continents and is actively working on projects. Its operations are financed mainly by private donations from different people and institutions.
The Nasir Hospital project aims to strengthen and expand Humanity First’s vision of providing medical services to the different communities that need it, with equitable access to medical care for Guatemalans in the short and long term.
Nasir Hospital services include: outpatient clinics, specialists in all areas, laboratory, pharmacy, ultra sound, x-rays, emergency room, ICU, labor and delivery, and two operating rooms, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
